We may have ancient origins but we are not… AANTiquated. In the heart of Rome

Our story began in 1992. Since then we have navigated all areas of the design world. We have chosen unknown, intrepid paths. And where there was no path we had to make one. We have become stronger and more sure of ourselves, just as our kids have. We have grown taller every day. We have put down roots in a place where creativity has existed for centuries. The Academy building is right in the centre of Rome. Its long history dates back to Roman times, when the area was part of a vast terrain that sloped gently down from the Janiculum hill to the Tiber. At that time, the original structure was already host to creative activities such as clay working. Since then, the site has undergone innumerable changes. In the early twentieth century it became an important factory, producing value paper and postage stamps, as well as printing the Fine Arts Bulletin and the catalogue of the art houses of Italy. It was later the headquarters of a major paper processing business. Centuries have passed, but it is thanks to AANT that the building still hums with creativity today. And from its windows we can enjoy a unique and splendid view: magical lights along the Tiber boulevards and rose-hued sunsets that bless the capital each evening. Pure inspiration. A modern centre with state-of-the-art technology.

Each lecture room of the Academy is equipped with computers and the latest hi-tech equipment to allow students to plan and make their designs supported by teaching staff. Tradition, innovation and new trends converge within our walls to bring powerful creative energy to life. We provide engagement, tools and spaces. But the ignition key to the whole circuit is them – our kids. Eyes aglow, voices abuzz and a burning desire to become someone.
