Erasmus+

Partner Academies and Universities

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme that supports education, training, and sport for young people in Europe.

The Erasmus 2021-2027 programme focuses on the green and digital transition and promotes young people’s participation in democratic life, strongly emphasising social inclusion.
It supports the priorities and activities in the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan and the New Skills Agenda for Europe. In addition, the programme supports the European Pillar of Social Rights, implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, and develops the European dimension in sport.

For detailed information on the various opportunities, including admission criteria, please refer to the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.

STUDENTS

For students coming from abroad, we have put in place several initiatives and services that support and accompany them beyond the Academy:

- Welcome Day for students: an orientation day before the start of each semester, in September and February;

– Help find accommodation thanks to the partnership with Spacest.com https://spacest.com/. For more information, download the guide;

– language support through the partnership with Clidante – Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri;

Health insurance: EU students are entitled to medical care in centres and hospitals in the Italian health system. Students from other countries not covered by EU national health plans need health coverage before arriving in Rome. The International Office and Erasmus are available for information and support in both cases.

– AANT is also associated with Eduitalia, which supports the Academy and students with visa applications, health insurance, travel documents, etc.

– International Office and Erasmus: supports incoming students in solving problems and/or obtaining practical information and certifications;

– tutors: support students with the Learning Agreement and with everyday problems in the classroom;

– Help desk: for periods of closure of the Academy (weekends, holidays, etc.), AANT has established an email address, always active, to answer and help resolve doubts and critical issues: international@aant.it

FACULTY and STAFF

AANT’s International Office supports faculty and staff of the partner Universities on the move in all the phases provided for by the Erasmus agreements. To resolve doubts and critical issues, AANT invites you to use the always-active email address international@aant.it.

We encourage training on the move as part of a journey where curiosity is vital.

STUDENTS

Given its relevance, we promote student mobility by studying languages functional for the experience abroad, mainly English.

FACULTY and STAFF

AANT also encourages faculty and staff mobility and recognises the teaching and training activities carried out during mobility as a valid work period. The Internationalisation Office and Erasmus assist faculty and staff on the move by helping them make preliminary contacts with the host institutions or companies and supporting them in developing the work plan.

Special Needs

Being a creative community means caring not only for teaching but also for people’s needs. For this reason, in AANT, “inclusivity” is not just a word but a way of life that focuses on people whose physical, mental, or, more generally, health conditions are such as not to allow them to participate in exchange programs without adequate support.

Here are some of our initiatives to promote transparency and inclusivity:

– establishment of an ethics committee and definition of the procedures for its activation;
– establishment of a Charter of Ethical Principles signed by faculty, staff, and students (Italian and foreign);

– cycles of thematic seminars and round tables to promote religious, cultural, economic, gender and Special Needs inclusivity;
– attention to food culture linked to the religious beliefs of those who attend the Academy, with a direct impact on quotidian (for example, on the variety of foods available in vending machines);
– attention and care in the elimination of architectural barriers within the premises.

For detailed information on the Erasmus+ programme, please refer to the Guide for people with special needs.
