From thesis project to international recognition. Arianna Sordi, a former AANT student, has been selected as a finalist in Rider Pods, the competition organized by YAC – Young Architects Competitions, with Check Point, a project developed during her academic studies under the guidance of architect and lecturer Nicola Auciello. This significant achievement highlights her talent, design research, and ability to transform an educational experience into an opportunity to engage with the international architecture and design community.
The Check Point project, originally developed as a thesis at AANT, has earned recognition from an international jury of industry professionals, including Raul Pantaleo, Eugenia Di Girolamo, Paolo Matteuzzi, Luca Bussolino, Elsa Ponce, and Martin Gran. This achievement reflects the value of a design approach rooted in experimentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to develop ideas that extend beyond the academic environment.
Being selected as a finalist in the YAC competition is a source of pride for the entire AANT community and reinforces the importance of an educational approach that places creativity, research, and engagement with professional challenges at its core.
AANT congratulates Arianna Sordi on this important achievement and wishes her continued success in her professional journey, driven by the same passion, curiosity, and determination.
