She was Honorary Senior Research Associate at UCL, Institute of Education London, where she received her PhD in 2008.
The Italian representative in the OECD-INES project for ten years, she coordinated and participated in several EU-Socrates projects on educational leadership, active and global citizenship, intercultural education, multimedia education. She has published extensively in Italy and internationally

Her studio mainly deals with product and exhibition design. She has won numerous awards, including ADI Design Index selections, Honorable Mentions at the Compasso D’Oro, and Design Plus and German Design Awards. In addition to her project work, she has worked as a curator of cultural events and teacher. She currently teaches at the AANT, where she coordinates the three-year course on product design. Of particular relevance is her constant commitment to institutional roles: she has been an ADI member since 1979, served as a member of the ADI National Board of Directors from 2004 to 2017, and was its Vice-President from 2014 to 2017. She oversaw the installation of the Design Collection in the Palazzo della Farnesina and the creation of the Design Room. She was also part of the first Italian Design Council.

In 2015 and 2021, the studio was recognised as one of the top visual design agencies by the d2 Conference in Vienna and won the Hugh Ferriss competition. The images created by Atelier Crilo are featured on CGI-specific websites. Additionally, in 2017, CGarchitect honoured Atelier Crilo with the CGarchitect Architectural 3D Awards in the commissioned film category for their work on “Superficial.” The studio’s representation work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2021, including installations at Casa dell’Architettura and MACRO, as well as solo exhibitions titled ” Paesaggi ibridi” and ” Disegno Plurale”. A clinical psychologist by training, he conducted art therapy workshops for people with psychosis. He began his copywriting career as a consultant for UniCredit Banca, Save the Children, and Doctors Without Borders. He has created campaigns and signed dozens of cartoons, winning significant awards such as the Flash Forward and the Annecy Festival. At 30, he began writing the first of five novels. In recent times, his main activity has been theatre and video making. He has written and performed several comedy theatre monologues and reached the final at Italia’s Got Talent in 2020. His satirical videos are broadcasted several times on La7 (Propaganda Live), Repubblica.it, and Internazionale.it. For three years, he has been editing a video book on RaiPlay where he tells the lives of writers and is the leading voice of the podcast “Willy, una storia di ragazzi”.

He specialises in photojournalism, visual storytelling, and multimedia projects on migration, mental health, human rights, and social justice. His work has been published in national and international press. He has collaborated with various organisations, NGOs, and foundations, including UNHCR, Medu, Terra, International Rescue Committee, Luca Coscioni Association, Médecins du Monde, and Paolo Bulgari Foundation. Some of his recent projects include a report for NPR on the ship of Médecins Sans Frontières for the search and rescue of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea and the web documentary “Da quassù si vede il mare,” which focuses on the Roman outskirts of Tor Bella Monaca. This documentary was officially presented at the Maxxi during the Rome Film Festival 2023. In addition to his work as a photographer and lecturer, he is also a clinical psychologist.

After completing scientific and musical studies, she graduated from the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata in Rome in 2012. Together with nine other members, she founded “Another Studio,” a photography and graphics studio for which she mainly deals with still-life photography. In 2016, she served as a photo retoucher for the Rio 2016 Olympic campaign. Intrigued by agency life, she enrolled in the First Level Academic Course in Graphic Design at the AANT, graduating with 110 cum laude. She later worked on Mastercard campaigns and some Real Time programs. She is currently the Art Director at Hhype Agency and collaborates as a freelance photographer and photo retoucher for different companies. Since 2021, these activities have been complemented by teaching roles.

He has been working for television for over twenty years and today is one of the most influential authors of his generation. He has worked as project leader and author with the most significant television hosts and with the leadingproduction companies, collaborating both in major prime-time shows (Sanremo Festival, C’è postaper te, La Corrida) and experimental programs (he wrote the first editions of Married at First SightItalia, Boss in Incognito, Sex Tape), going from the adaptation of large international formats (Italia’s Got Talent, Tu Si QueVales, First Dates) to the collaboration for the creation of original formats (Dalla Strada al Palco, Uomini e Donne, Il Forno delle Meraviglie).

He attended the DAMS in Roma Tre, and even before completing his studies, he worked in the editing room alongside various directors, including Paolo Virzì, Fausto Brizzi, Gabriele Salvatores and Luca Manfredi. In 2012, he began his work as a television director and author, and since 2013, he has been writing and directing TV programmes, TV series and docufilms for the main television networks. Since 2018, he has focused on writing and directing docufilms, experimenting with virtual production. He has produced dozens of documentaries, some translated and distributed in more than ten countries. His latest works include “Viareggio 1969” (Rai), the series “Bande criminale” (Sky) and “Una giornata particolare” (La7), now in its third season with millions of viewers. Since 2024, these activities are complemented by teaching activities.

In 2003, she graduated from La Sapienza with a thesis on the History of Islamic Art. As a professional photographer since 2001, she has collaborated with prominent institutes, including the Treccani Encyclopedia, the BBC, and the Ministry of Culture. She has participated in archaeological missions as an art historian and photographer in Central Asia and Pakistan. In her professional career, Art History and Photography have always been strongly connected, allowing her to develop a path of analysis of images structured on the dialogue between the two areas, a direction that she has been following with her teaching activity since 2003. Since 2017, she has directed the project “Percorsi Fotografici nell’Arte” in collaboration with notable cultural associations and frequently with the Italian Touring Club.

After graduating from the Theatre and Performing Arts program, he began an artistic career, writing and performing theatre performances, readings, and concerts. He was a guest at the 2016 Tenco Award and won the award for best text at Musicultura 2015. He has published two books of poems, two collections of short stories, and a song record. On television, he was a guest of Fiorello, Stefano Bollani, and Valentina Cenni; in cinema, he wrote and performed the song “Dio è luminosa assenza” in the film “Il Legionario”. He teaches at the AANT in Rome and conducts writing workshops in associations, schools, and other institutions. From the texts written by prisoners during a workshop in the prison of Frosinone, the book “Letteratura d’evasione” was born. He is one of the founders of the theatrical format Sgombro and among the authors and presenters of the Radio Rai3 programme “Le ripetizioni”.
