She was Honorary Senior Research Associate at UCL, Institute of Education London, where she received her PhD in 2008.
The Italian representative in the OECD-INES project for ten years, she coordinated and participated in several EU-Socrates projects on educational leadership, active and global citizenship, intercultural education, multimedia education. She has published extensively in Italy and internationally

Her training, starting from a base of classical studies, is oriented towards visual communication, starting with studies in Graphic Design at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Rome and the International Institute of Communication and Image (ICEI MULTIMEDIA Olivetti group) – where for a period she was teaching assistant to Prof. Franco Zeri, coordinator of the department of Graphics and Computer Graphics -, and completed with seminars on communication for children and with master’s degrees for the in-depth study of digital technologies for television. Her professional experiences gradually specialised in book publishing and event communication. Among her professional experiences are founding partner and creative director of the publishing house I Colori del Mondo and the publishing services and events organisation Leggermente (Naples). Her studio mainly deals with product and exhibition design. She has won numerous awards, including ADI Design Index selections, Honorable Mentions at the Compasso D’Oro, and Design Plus and German Design Awards. In addition to her project work, she has worked as a curator of cultural events and teacher. She currently teaches at the AANT, where she coordinates the three-year course on product design. Of particular relevance is her constant commitment to institutional roles: she has been an ADI member since 1979, served as a member of the ADI National Board of Directors from 2004 to 2017, and was its Vice-President from 2014 to 2017. She oversaw the installation of the Design Collection in the Palazzo della Farnesina and the creation of the Design Room. She was also part of the first Italian Design Council.

She established Atelier Crilo in 2010, a company specialising in 3D visualisation for architecture and design. In 2015 and 2021, the studio was recognised as one of the top visual design agencies by the d2 Conference in Vienna and won the Hugh Ferriss competition. The images created by Atelier Crilo are featured on CGI-specific websites. Additionally, in 2017, CGarchitect honoured Atelier Crilo with the CGarchitect Architectural 3D Awards in the commissioned film category for their work on “Superficial.” The studio’s representation work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2021, including installations at Casa dell’Architettura and MACRO, as well as solo exhibitions titled ” Paesaggi ibridi” and ” Disegno Plurale”. An expert lawyer in intellectual and industrial property (IP) law, she graduated in law from LUISS Guido Carli with a thesis conducted at the Anti-Piracy Lab of Microsoft Ireland in Dublin. She has completed several postgraduate courses, all focused on IP. In 2014, she qualified to practice law at the Court of Appeals of Rome. She holds a PhD in Market and Consumer Law from Roma Tre University. For years, she worked in leading IP law firms, dealing almost exclusively with film law. Since 2019, she has owned a firm specializing in IP and IT law. Today, she is one of the experts in intellectual and industrial property at the Chieti-Pescara Chamber of Commerce.

After high school, he became interested in the world of editorial graphics, and in 2014, he graduated as Art Director from the AANT. After various experiences as a Junior Creative Director, Digital Art Director, and Graphic Designer, he increasingly specialised in Digital Retouching, 3D Modelling, and User Interface. Today, he teaches Interaction and Interface Design 1 at the AANT. He is the CEO and co-founder of THANATOS Digital Agency, an independent creative agency that mainly deals with creating digital products. He has designed for small and large brands, organisations, institutions, and various agencies and professional firms, including ACEA, CIA Agricoltori Italiani, Confcommercio Roma, Molinari, and RAI. Over the years, he has collected numerous awards, publications, and prizes, the most notable of which are from Behance, CSS Design Awards, and Typeroom.

Her creative career began on YouTube at 15, at a time when being a gamer wasn’t considered cool. As a first-generation influencer with +150k followers, she gained valuable insights into how the communication environment works. Through firsthand collaborations with brands, she gained an understanding of what it means for a brand to communicate a message effectively. Following three years at AANT in Rome, she pursued further education in Berlin, specialising in Miami Ad School Europe and Steinbeis for Art Direction and Business Management. Over the past ten years, she has worked in creative agencies across different countries and markets, and she currently holds the position of art director in Germany.

She began her training focusing on visual communication and graduated with a degree in industrial design from Sapienza. Her thesis, “Design of a Typographic Font: Sinus,” was awarded by the “Raimond Loewy Foundation Italy” in Milan. This recognition opened doors for her, leading her to complete a Master’s Degree in Type Design at the Polytechnic of Milan. In 2008, she began teaching Lettering and Type Design at various private universities and, from 2022, also at Sapienza. For over 15 years, she has been studying and teaching calligraphy, allowing her to delve deeper into the nuances of letters and characterise her work as a designer. She has collaborated with several publishing houses, such as Orecchio Acerbo, for which she created the Newel typeface. Additionally, she is the Coordinator of the “Il Borgo dei Cartai” Museum laboratory activities in Subiaco.
