One Diploma, Many Professions

Our students’ in-depth knowledge of the sector’s principles and techniques, combined with experience in the field, allows them to work in this field in different roles.

If your idea of happiness can be summed up in one of these professions, you’re on the right page:

• Interior Designer: designs living spaces taking into account the needs and living habits of their client;
• Public Designer: designs public spaces, including commercial and/or workspaces, which attract, facilitate and enrich the experience of those who use them;
• Visual Designer: designs intangible spaces using 3D Modeling and the most advanced computer graphics software; collaborates with virtual production studios in the field of gaming, environment design and entertainment;
• Exhibit and Lighting Designer: integrates the specific knowledge of light design with the design of an exhibition space, collaborating with the architect.

The AANT Interior and Public Designer will be a professional:

• attentive to the use of high-performance and sustainable materials and capable of transforming spaces by creating environments rich in emotions, highly functional to their intended use;

• expert in materials and technologies;  

• competent in experiential marketing and perception psychology;

• skilful in distributing and optimising spaces for excellent usability of the designed environments;

• ready to work as a team, collaborating with the different figures involved in the project.

The three-year course in Video making, Story, Cinema and Media Design is aimed at aspiring professionals in cinema, television, advertising, music videos, web series, podcasting, virtual production and all other forms of storytelling for images and sounds. From video making to editing through directing, the course of studies delves into shooting styles, techniques and tools through the most popular software in the industry: Premiere, After Effects, Maya, Unreal Engine, DaVinci Resolve and many others.

The curriculum and extracurricular activities allow the acquisition and development of specific skills and techniques for different professional profiles in this field.

If your idea of happiness can be summed up in one of these professions, you’re on the right page:

• Video maker: plans, directs, and photographs emotions; is flexible and versatile; able to move from casting to using the camera and microphones, from photography to directing;
• Storyteller: expert in using storytelling techniques to make people laugh, move, and convince, moving from emotion to reflection;
• Video editor: behind the keyboard, transforms and enhances the shot through video editing, audio mix, motion graphic and colour correction;
• Visual effects artist: reconciles technologies such as Green screen, matte painting, 3D, compositing, rendering, augmented and immersive reality with the tradition of visual effects;
• Executive producer: a key figure who organises crews and actors, manages copyright, contracts, financing and agendas;
• Transmedia producer: Manages projects for multiple media and/or platforms, such as the Executive Producer. Organises crews and actors. Manages copyright, contracts, financing, and agendas.

The AANT Video maker and Media Designer will be a professional:

• able to juggle genres and technical complexities from writing to post-production;
• skilled in many aspects: from casting to the use of the camera, from the direction of photography to the direction of the actors, from the storyboard to the screen;
• expert connaisseur of storytelling and its techniques;
• able to juggle video editing, audio mixing, motion graphics and colour correction to impart their style to films, short films, documentaries, commercials and other audiovisual content;
• skilled at reconciling visionary and innovative technologies with the tradition of the sector.

You could be one of them.

The three-year product design course prepares future design specialists by developing the technical and creative skills to design industrially reproducible products. The course of study addresses the understanding of the contemporary socio-economic and cultural context, touching on all the themes of Product Design: from high-tech to accessories, from household appliances to luxury and everyday items.

The curriculum and extra-curricular activities allow the acquisition and development of the highest-level creative and technical skills, which combine knowledge of technological-productive and market processes with excellent command of new technologies. 
If your idea of happiness can be summed up in one of these professions, you’re on the right page:

• • Product Designer: designs new systems and products capable of integrating innovation with the technological, productive and sociological dynamics of the market;
  • Management Designer: follows the strategic and managerial finalisation of the project until its inclusion in the market; they are active at all levels (from strategic to operational) and are the interface between management and design.
  • Creative Director: professional figure responsible for the image of the brand, collaborates with companies in the choice of products to be made, masters the tools and techniques of production and communication of the product;
  • Trend researcher: eclectic figure continuously informed about socio-economic changes and lifestyles that set trends and influence the product system.

The AANT Product Designer will be a professional:

• able to manage complex projects, finding the right balance between efficiency, economy and creativity;
• able to plan and implement complex and articulated Product projects on the different points of contact between consumer and brand;
• adept at conceptualising brand experiences that leverage all touch points and that see a consistent use of the communication mix;
• accustomed to managing professionals from different areas of production to implement projects that require the integration of many professionals;
• has great knowledge of the use of software applications in their professional field;
• able to decode the elements, languages and cultural contexts of reference;
• capable of developing appropriate and effective creative solutions, adopting a structured and coherent methodological approach;
• expert in arguing their design solutions, justifying creative and methodological choices with consistency and awareness;
• able to critically evaluate their work and that of others with the criteria and vocabulary of the relevant discipline.

• Graphic Designer: transforms complex concepts into simple, recognisable, immediate and understandable forms;
• Art Director: participates in the creation of campaigns together with the copywriter, managing the visual component for the different media involved; directs photographers and animators, supports directors and video makers;
• Creative Director: directs the creative department in the design and implementation of cross-media and transmedia campaigns, chooses the direction to follow, discusses creative strategy with the client;
• Web Designer: deals with UX/UI design, designs sites and apps and contributes to the constant improvement of the digital habitat;
• Motion Designer: uses audio and video editing techniques, creates animations, theme songs, opening and closing credits, motion infographics, etc;
• Project Manager: organises and coordinates the entire team involved in a campaign, from designers to accounts, and knows how to dialogue with respect to the roles and figures involved.

The AANT Art Director and Designer will be a professional:

• skilled in all phases of work, from brainstorming to production;
• creative and with great mastery of the most used software in advertising agencies and beyond;
• proficient in creative thinking techniques to develop concepts together with the copywriter;
• capable of creating storytelling and scripts for the video;
• able to work in a group and collaborate with all the figures involved in the project, particularly the creative ones.
