After completing his studies at the Arkitekturskolan in Stockholm, he graduated in architecture in Rome and earned a Doctor of Research title in 2003. Since 1999, he has been the owner and founding partner of the Next Urban Solutions Studio, which specialises in architecture, urban design, landscape, interior design, and museum installations. He is an expert in designing exhibition spaces and multimedia installations. He provides consultancy services to various public and private institutions, including the Municipality of Rome, Fondazione Valore Italia, Acquario Romano, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, SIAE, and LuccaCrea, among others. In May 2022, he was appointed by the Order of Architects of Rome for the “Design for Peace” project, which aims to support young Ukrainian architects seeking refuge in Italy.

Michele Di Monte
Saverio Lombardi Vallauri
Before the age of twenty-five, he aspired to be an architect. In 1989, he enrolled at the European Institute of Design in Rome, where he began teaching in 1991. Photographing architecture satisfies his desire for order, and he has written several books on photography theory. His speciality is the overestimation of the importance of the optical bench in the digital age. In recent years, he has found that he works very well with sensors and enjoys discussing and writing about them whenever he gets the chance.
Claudio Lopez
He graduated in Architecture from the University of Rome in 1986 with a thesis in Architectural Composition. After gaining professional experience at accredited studios, he has been working as a freelancer since 1987. He has been involved in both public and private Architectural Design, with a particular focus on interior architecture. Since 1992, he has been working with the “Eurotekna” studio, which specializes in the restoration, reuse, and enhancement of many monumental complexes. He took on the role of Administrative Manager in 1994. Until 2005, he managed the “daDriade” store, which he opened in Rome in 1995. In 2010, he established the “CLACstudio” design studio in Trastevere, which is still active today, focusing on architecture and contemporary living.
Emanuele Tarducci
Expert in electronic technologies applied to Design and Display, he teaches at several Italian Universities and Schools of Design. He has won awards in international design competitions and has presented his research in Information Technology on several occasions. Always interested in defining new and effective relationships between the digital environment and physical space, he combines theoretical reflection with design research in the different areas of application of new technologies, from multimedia communication to performance spaces, from sensitive environments to interactive systems.
Francesca Rodia
Francesca’s training in design was comprehensive, with a three-year course in Interior, Product and Exhibit Design at AANT. This period was filled with workshops and exams that focused on the communication and representation of the project, honing her skills in product design, graphic design, and interior design. Her professional journey began as an interior designer, specialising in 3D rendering, and then transitioned to a visual designer role in communication agencies and companies. She designed brand identities, packaging, stands, physical stores, and communication supports. She is an independent designer specialising in integrated communication and branding.
Cira Viggiano
She began her training focusing on visual communication and graduated with a degree in industrial design from Sapienza. Her thesis, “Design of a Typographic Font: Sinus,” was awarded by the “Raimond Loewy Foundation Italy” in Milan. This recognition opened doors for her, leading her to complete a Master’s Degree in Type Design at the Polytechnic of Milan. In 2008, she began teaching Lettering and Type Design at various private universities and, from 2022, also at Sapienza. For over 15 years, she has been studying and teaching calligraphy, allowing her to delve deeper into the nuances of letters and characterise her work as a designer. She has collaborated with several publishing houses, such as Orecchio Acerbo, for which she created the Newel typeface. Additionally, she is the Coordinator of the “Il Borgo dei Cartai” Museum laboratory activities in Subiaco.
Ernesto Venanzi
He graduated in Industrial Design and specialised in Design with plastics from the Polytechnic of Milan. During his studies, he explored various aspects of the design discipline, collaborating with entities such as Dolcefarniente, Joe Rivetto, All Music TV, and UNESCO. He has designed exhibition projects for Mercedes, Ferrari, and Alfa Romeo. With Taloccidesign, he designs for large companies in the sector, such as Teuco, Foppapedretti, and Falper, and collaborates with Valdama in creating innovative ceramic products for bathroom furniture. His projects were exhibited at 100%Design in London in 2013 and published by Design For in 2013-2014. Today, his multisensory and design approach continues with research, attention to new clients, and teaching through the AANT.
Andrea Valesini
After graduating in Industrial Design with a specialisation in Visual Design from Sapienza, he began his career as a brand designer at the Inarea studio. During this period and later as a freelance designer, he collaborated with prestigious clients such as Italo Treno, Metropolitana di Roma, AC Milan, and the Italian National Olympic Committee. In 2018, he founded Fantastico Studio, which specialises in developing video games for PC, console, and mobile devices. He holds the roles of Game Designer and Creative Director. The studio has collaborated to create 25 commercial titles and received international awards for the excellence of its products. Since 2022, he has enriched his career with teaching activities, transferring his expertise in the design and development of video games.
Massimo Valente
He graduated in Rome and obtained a PhD in Interior Architecture and Design. He is a researcher and lecturer in the Courses of Design, Exhibit, and Visual Communication; he teaches in the Design Laboratories in the Postgraduate, Doctorate, and Master’s courses at La Sapienza. He is a Visiting Professor at Tongji University in Shanghai, the Polytechnic of Portalegre, Lusíada University in Lisbon, and Oxford Brookes University. He exhibits at the Biennale di Venezia, Macro, Triennale di Sofia, and the OHR. He designs and creates worldwide, from product design to residential architecture, from parks and public spaces to landscape projects. He has published his work in Il Sole 24 Ore and Design della Repubblica, as well as articles and essays by publishers such as Kappa and Gangemi International.
