This question is at the heart of \u201c<strong>New Forms of Creative Knowledge<\/strong>\u201d, geniaLAB\u2019s first annual Forum, taking place <strong>on 23 and 24 October 2026<\/strong> at <strong>AANT\u2019s campus at Via Monza 21, Rome<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe two-day event will bring together art, philosophy, research and education to explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and creative processes. It builds on the work of <strong>geniaLAB<\/strong>, AANT\u2019s interdisciplinary research HUB dedicated to generative AI, digital culture, cognitive technologies and creative innovation.<br \/>\nOn <strong>Friday 23 October<\/strong>, the programme will open with a welcome address by <strong>Rossana Quarta<\/strong>, Director of AANT, followed by \u201c<strong>A Year of geniaLAB<\/strong>\u201d, presented by <strong>Gianna Angelini<\/strong>, AANT\u2019s Scientific Director and geniaLAB Coordinator. <strong>Andrea Colamedici<\/strong>, Chair of geniaLAB\u2019s Scientific Committee, will then deliver a talk entitled \u201c<strong>AI: Apocalyptic Intelligence. Navigating Alarmism and Marketing<\/strong>\u201d.<br \/>\nThe day\u2019s three sessions will address the question \u201cHow can we nurture the desire to create in the age of AI?\u201d Each speaker will have fifteen minutes to offer a response drawing on their own perspective and experience. Contributors will include <strong>Massimo Canevacci, Maura Gancitano, Sabina Minardi, Paolo Granata, Pier Luigi Capucci, Simone Arcagni, Marco Gori, Emanuele Frontoni, Luna Bianchi, Alex Braga and Derrick de Kerckhove<\/strong>. Each session will be followed by a discussion, moderated respectively by Andrea Colamedici, Maura Gancitano and Gianna Angelini.<br \/>\nThe final part of the afternoon will feature a closing lecture and discussion with <strong>Fr Andrea Ciucci<\/strong>, Secretary General of the Vatican RenAIssance Foundation. The day will conclude with a presentation of the outcomes of \u201c<strong>AI&amp;ME: The Fine Line Between Creativity and Generativity<\/strong>\u201d, a workshop led by Alex Braga with AANT students, bringing theoretical reflection into dialogue with creative experimentation.<br \/>\nOn <strong>Saturday 24 October<\/strong>, the Forum will continue in the <strong>Giardino d\u2019inverno<\/strong>, focusing on the question \u201c<strong>How can we inspire and develop the desire to create in the age of AI?<\/strong>\u201d Following the opening remarks by Gianna Angelini, speakers will include <strong>Rossana Quarta<\/strong> for AANT; <strong>Riccardo Balbo<\/strong>, Academic Director of the IED Group; <strong>Anthony Marasco<\/strong>, Chair of NABA\u2019s AI Committee; and <strong>Giovanna Cassese<\/strong>, a member of ANVUR\u2019s Governing Board, Italy\u2019s National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes.<br \/>\nThe morning, intended for interested faculty members, will continue with an open discussion between the academies and members of AANT\u2019s and geniaLAB\u2019s Scientific Committee, moderated by Gianna Angelini and Andrea Colamedici.
