geniaLAB\u2019s first annual Forum examines transformations in knowledge, creative processes and education in the context of artificial intelligence. Organised by AANT\u2019s research HUB, the event brings together Scientific Committee members, scholars, professionals and representatives of higher arts education institutions for an interdisciplinary dialogue connecting research, experimentation and design practice.
\nThe Forum focuses on the desire to create: its relationship with generative tools, the conditions that support its development, and the role of education in encouraging independent creative practice, critical thinking and awareness of creative processes.
\nThe programme on 23 October<\/strong> centres on the question \u201cHow can we nurture the desire to create in the age of AI?<\/strong>\u201d A presentation of geniaLAB\u2019s first year of activities introduces a series of talks and discussions bringing cultural, philosophical, artistic and scientific perspectives into dialogue.
\nThe connection between reflection and experimentation is also explored through \u201cAI&amp;ME: The Fine Line Between Creativity and Generativity<\/strong>\u201d, a workshop led by Alex Braga with AANT students. Its outcomes are presented at the end of the day.
\nOn 24 October<\/strong>, the focus turns to the question \u201cHow can we inspire and develop the desire to create in the age of AI?<\/strong>\u201d The from AANT, IED and NABA, together with a talk by Giovanna Cassese, a member of ANVUR\u2019s Governing Board, open a discussion on the role of academies in education and artistic and design research, including research evaluation criteria.
\nThe dialogue involves members of AANT\u2019s and geniaLAB\u2019s Scientific Committee and interested faculty members, building on themes emerging from the first day. Its aim is to develop a common approach to shared challenges and lay the foundations for a lasting exchange betweeninstitutions, strengthening the relationship between knowledge production, educational responsibility and creative innovation.<\/p>\n
